Stefania Geraci

Stefania Geraci is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience advising senior leadership on business strategy and operational excellence. She is recognized for her strategic insight, risk management skills, and hands-on, business-first approach.
Stefania most recently served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at The Estée Lauder Companies, where she led a global legal team providing strategic counsel on commercial transactions across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and the Travel Retail sector. She worked closely with business partners to navigate complex deals across ELC’s iconic brands, including Clinique, M.A.C., Estée Lauder, and Le Labo—offering critical guidance to the retail, real estate, wholesale, digital, e-commerce, supply chain, IT, human resources, and finance teams. Among many key initiatives, Stefania was the lead legal partner for the launch of ELC’s brands on Amazon.
Prior to ELC, Stefania served as General Counsel at Grassi, a top 100 U.S. accounting and professional services firm, where she directed legal and compliance efforts aligned with the firm’s growth and regulatory demands. In addition to leading multiple M&A transactions and managing the litigation portfolio, she played a pivotal role in developing legal templates to increase efficiency, building a scalable legal function to support rapid expansion, and introducing a compliance calendar to mitigate risk.
Before Grassi, Stefania was Vice President and General Counsel, North America at Luxottica, where she led a dynamic legal team managing all legal functions. Her role encompassed legal oversight for marketing and protecting major brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, LensCrafters, and Sunglass Hut; extensive commercial transactions and licensing agreements with partners such as Target, Macy’s, and Sears; domestic and international franchise work for Pearle Vision, Sunglass Hut, and Oakley; and North American distribution of products from brands including Chanel, Prada, and Dolce & Gabbana. She was also responsible for all North American litigation—including regulatory, antitrust, wage & hour class actions, and bankruptcy matters—as well as real estate reviews for Luxottica’s 4,000+ North American locations.
Earlier in her career, Stefania was an associate at Hogan Lovells in New York, focusing on intellectual property, M&A, real estate, and finance matters.
She holds a J.D. from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University. Stefania is admitted to practice in New York State.
