Gina Histed

With over 15 years of experience as an HR and Talent Acquisition leader in the fashion, luxury, and entertainment sectors, as Chief of Staff and Talent Acquisition Lead at Fixer, Gina focuses on our executive functioning, innovating on operations and processes, and supporting Fixer’s strategic initiatives. Gina draws upon her deep experience and network to support Fixer’s clients in sourcing and attracting exceptional talent.

Throughout her career, Gina has led the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions for privately held and founder-led organizations, such as David Yurman, Kenneth Cole, Bandier, VEVO, and more. Prior to joining Fixer, Gina launched a consulting business, Precision Talent, offering talent acquisition and career support to both companies and active job seekers. Prior to Precision, Gina served as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for David Yurman, where her primary focus was on building the TA function to support rapid business growth and expansion. Before entering the HR field, Gina spent six years in the hospitality industry as a General Manager, opening multiple venues in NYC while balancing her full-time studies in Footwear & Accessory Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Gina attributes her future success to this experience, where she refined her resilience, flexibility, and operational mindset, laying the foundation for her career.

Gina is known for her deep love of all animals and her creative inclination to find design opportunities in all aspects of life. Together with her husband Lee, two cats, Porkrind & Kitty, and their duck Antonio in tow, they love spending time outdoors, camping, and dividing their time between upstate NY and Manhattan.
