Dana Capone
Executive Advisor
Dana Capone brings a rare hybrid perspective to the beauty and luxury industries, combining the strategic judgment of a General Counsel with the executional expertise of a seasoned operator. She partners with founders and leadership teams to build brands that are not only creative and compelling but also structurally sound, operationally disciplined, and positioned for sustainable growth. With deep industry experience across beauty and luxury, her approach is both strategic and practical, translating an ambitious vision into measurable action while safeguarding regulatory integrity and brand equity.
Most recently, Dana served as President and General Counsel of Macrene Actives, where she guided the company through a critical phase of growth, strengthening corporate architecture, implementing financial systems, and optimizing retail partnerships. Serving concurrently as COO and General Counsel, she built financial and operational infrastructure, strengthened retail partnerships, and oversaw finance, production, marketing, global logistics, and regulatory compliance. Dana supported the business with a particular focus on intellectual property strategy, commercialization opportunities, governance, risk management, and scalable legal and operational frameworks.
Earlier in her career, Dana founded The Capone Group, a boutique communications and events firm representing leading beauty brands, including Dr. Barbara Sturm and Christian Louboutin Beauté. She previously served as Senior External Relations Officer at Bulgari/LVMH, where she managed public relations and later legal review for high-profile partnerships and campaigns across Beauty, Jewelry, and Hotels & Resorts - experience that deepened her fluency in both brand storytelling and corporate stewardship within a global luxury environment.
Dana began her legal career in New York, advising clients on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters and representing them in state and federal court. She received her JD cum laude from New York Law School and her BA in Communications from the University of Arizona and is admitted to practice law in New York. A lifelong New Yorker, Dana is committed to advocacy and serves as Co-Chair of the New York Women’s Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee.
